Our academy together with our production facility is located right at the heart of the city. It is hardly 10 mts away from the Indira Gandhi square, a popular landmark of the city, enroute Puducherry bus stand to Villupuram. It is housed in a modern three-storied building which has ample space for parking, dining, sports and recreational facilities besides all other modern facilities. Apart from this, the building has a lift with 24 hours power backup.
We are located in a sprawling 10000 Sq. ft area with greenery all around. We maintain a health consciousness environment by conducting physical fitness session everyday for our associates.

Training methodology |
|
|
We leverage the best technology and human talent to provide high quality training.
The audio, video, web-based training aids, in house tutors and visiting professors make our training program very efficient and productive.
Our duration of on-campus training is for 750 hours. i.e. 4 months.
As one of the reputed MT processing centers in the market, our trainees are provided one month of simulated production training and that helps them to gain the skills they need to function as a full-fledged MT.
Each trainee will have a mentor and they will guide the trainee to learn the technical nuances of MT.

Training Coverage
|
|
|
- Typing – Typing practice till the MT achieves a minimum speed of 50 words per minute.
- Computers – Introduction, Windows XP, MS-Office 2003 and other MT-related software tools.
- English – Syntax, Grammar, Punctuation, Americanisms, American phonetics, Infotainment.
- Medical transcription theory – Training in Medical transcription standards as per AAMT (American Association for Medical Transcription) specifications.
- Language of Medicine – Training in human anatomy, physiology and medical terminology pertaining to each system in the human body.
- Transcription – Rigorous practice given on all the system-related voice files (Beginners and Advance Medical Transcription voice files, Formatting, Transcription rules etc.)
- Expected accuracy from the MT at the end of training is 90%.
- During the last month of training, the trainee is exposed to live working environment, which helps them to prepare for the actual job.
- Azimuth Academy conducts a certification test in Medicine, English and transcription at the end of the training program and provides certificate and placement assistance for successful candidates.
